Packing your Hospital Bag

It is recommended you have your hospital bag packed from 36 weeks, so you can grab it when its time to head to the hospital. You know you'll need Maternity Lingerie such as Maternity Bra's and Breastfeeding PJ Tops to feed your baby, but what else should be in the bag?

Must Haves

• 2-3 Breastfeeding PJ's
• 2 pairs of Comfortable PJ Pants/Shorts
• 3 Maternity Bra's
• 1-2 Breastfeeding Tops
• 12 Pairs of comfy knickers
• Sanitary Pads
• Breast Pads
• Watch (to time contractions)
• Camera
• Plastic Bags (for dirty clothes)
• Toilet Bag (with tissues, soap, shampoo, hairbrush, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant & lip balm)
• Lip Balm - Is worth another mention!
• 2 Face Cloths (can be soothing when used hot or cold)
• Drink Bottle for Water - we recommend the Contigo Drink Bottles
• Snacks for your birth partner
• Paper Work, any documentation you've been keeping in conjunction with your midwife/obstetrician
• Going home outfit for baby
• Baby clothes for during your stay - some hospitals do provide this, it would pay to check.
