The search is over, the entries collected, and the Yummy Mummy Models have been chosen, pampered and given the time of their lives!
 
The Yummy Mummy Model Search was a fantastic opportunity to indulge five well deserving and beautiful Christchurch mums. We opened entries with no restrictions on age, size or weight and received photos and information from a huge range of expecting mummy’s. Entries closed September 7^th, with some amazing expecting mummies applying to become finalists. Finally on October 25^th we took our five lucky and gorgeous ladies out for a day of 5-star treatment.
 
Our beautiful models were pampered all day, with their hair and makeup done by Carl Watkins & Kristen Stewart School of Makeup, and their clothing and styling completed by the talented Angela Stone. Our lucky ladies, donning the beautiful garments in our new spring collections from Ripe Maternity, Stephanie Schell Maternity, Olian Maternity & HOTmilk Lingerie, were then professionally photographed by Heather Ellis Photography.
 
The results were amazing and our gorgeous girl’s spoiling did not stop there! Our five Yummy Mummy Models each took home a fabulous prize pack worth over $500.00. Inside their goody bag came a whole lot of treats including: maternity and breastfeeding clothing, HOTmilk Lingerie, Newbies Feeding Journal, Organic Skin Care, Pea Pods Breast Pads, a Skip Hop Hare Brush set and much more!

I had lots of fun yesterday and loved working with you and the other girls. Megan Sproats, 32

Megan lives in Northwood, Christchurch and has an 11 month old son. Her friend told her about our Model Search and encouraged Megan to enter. Megan says “I absolutely loooove being a mummy, but I would love to be able to have a day feeling like a yummy mummy”.
 







Christina Thomsen, 40
Christina lives in Somerfield, Christchurch and has a 3.5 year old boy (from IVF). Christina is 23 weeks pregnant with a girl (also IVF) so feels very lucky.
 







Laura Hall, 26
Laura lives in Bishopdale, and is Mum to a 4.5 year old, Foster parent to a 2.5 year old and has an IVF baby on the way. Laura is thrilled to have been selected and really looking forward to the photo shoot.
 







Michelle Kemp, 31
Michelle (from the UK) lives in Lyttelton with her partner (a joiner from New Plymouth). They moved to Christchurch 3 months ago as they saw it as a great challenge and a wonderful opportunity for work. This is Michelle’s first pregnancy and she is really excited.
 









Gina Turner, 27
Gina lives in North New Brighton, and owns a Beauty Salon; Beauty at Tiffanys also in North New Brighton. This is Gina’s first pregnancy and she describes herself as “bright and bubbly”. Gina has described her home situated in the orange zone as “a bit munted”.
